Welcome to the Electronic Quantum Matters (EQM) Group at the Department of Physics, Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM).

 

Our research concerns the study and control of the electronic states in low dimensional quantum materials and designer quantum LEGO structures (commonly known as van der Waals heterostructures) out of these.

We employ both experimental and theoretical methods to investigate diverse fundamental problems.
